Cooking Sous Vide with Chef Eric Villegas in Kansas City
On Thursday, November 17th from 6:00-9:00 pm, Chef Eric Villegas will be presenting at Johnson County Community College in the Wysong Theater in
the Wylie Hospitality and Culinary Center. The event will cost $25 to attend, with $10 of each ticket going to the Jr. Chef’s Club at Johnson Community College. Purchase your ticket. Please no walk-ins. |
Chef Eric will introduce the basics of the sous vide cooking
style and using vacuum sealers in the kitchen. Sous vide translates to “under
vacuum” and the vacuum seal is one of the most important parts. See how using
vacuum sealing and an immersion circulator, such as the VacMaster SV1 can change
the way you cook. Chef Eric will demonstrate
the following recipes: • Compressed Watermelon Salad • Chicken Breast Sous Vide • New York Strip Steak Sous Vide • Salmon Fillet Sous Vide • Béarnaise Sauce Sous Vide • Chocolate Pudding At the end of the demonstration there will be VacMaster products available for a hands-on demo, try the machines out and see how easy it is for yourself.
