Videos- How to Operate the PRO350 and PRO380 Suction Sealers

If you have narrowed down your vacuum sealer search to one of the suction variety, look no further than the PRO350 and PRO380 models. These suction sealers are small enough to make them ideal for home use, but heavy-duty enough to stand up to regular use. The only difference between these two units is the length of the seal bar, the PRO350 has a 12 inch seal bar, where the PRO380 has a 16 inch seal bar. A decision between the two comes down to the size of the items you would like to seal with the unit.

1. How to Operate the PRO350 & PRO380 Suction Vacuum Sealers
Both the PRO350 and the PRO380 have roll storage and a roll cutter. This allows you to store your bag roll inside the machine, pull out the length you need and conveniently cut it right on the machine. Rolls are perfect for creating custom sized bags for vacuum sealing. Suction sealers are often referred to as "external" sealers because the bag is held outside of the machine, as opposed to internally as it is with chamber sealers. Keep in mind that you must use the mesh bags with the suction units, chamber pouches will not work. This is because the texture in the mesh is required for the machine to pull a vacuum. You can adjust the vacuum and seal time on the unit before each cycle depending on what you are sealing.

2. Liquids and Your PRO350 & PRO380 Suction Vacuum Sealers
It is not recommended with suction units to seal any liquids or wet items. This type of unit uses suction to remove the air from the bag, and if there is liquid in the bag, it will suck that out to, and this will damage the vacuum pump. These units are ideal for sealing dry goods.
