VP-120 Home Use Review
The first thing you are going to ask is, “Is it worth it and do I have room for it in my kitchen?” The answer is quite simple, Yes and you will find room as soon as you start using it. I am an engineer by trade and a chef by passion. Technology has found its way in and out of my home kitchens through both experimentation and recommendations. I have purchased numerous vacuum sealers over the years and none so far have stood the test of time. The quality of the Vacmaster product line speaks for itself upon unpacking your new purchase. The savings and quality of the bagging products alone warrant the purchase of the machine. My VP-120 is used primarily for Sous-Vide, Compression, and Forced Marinades, but its abilities only begin there. The auto lid function alleviates sanitary issues and cross contamination. The unit’s footprint is counterable and fits well within any modern décor. Bagging is mess free and quite rapid. The VP-120’s chamber size is perfect for home use and allows for multiple bag sizes in regards to individual portions and family servings. Customer focus should be placed in regards to the purchasers required chamber size, which is only limited by bagging expectations. I run through approximately X-bagging cycles per month and the Vacmaster process reliably removes atmosphere and seals without any issues. The Vacmaster VP-120 is one of the few items that I have blindly purchased without first being exposed to its use. My decision was based on a mix of video demos, word of mouth, and the fact that not many used units are found for sale within online auction sites. If this review does anything, I hope it serves to wave your decision towards a secure and positive purchase experience.
