White Tail Deer Season Do's and Don'ts

Rise and shine! When white tail season comes around it's time for early mornings, and long days out in the field. The start and end dates may very based on where you live/hunt, but where I am at, we're in archery season through the end of the year.

Dress in something you will be comfortable wearing all day, and be prepared for winder conditions. It is not uncommon for areas frequented by white tails to be on the windy side. The morning feeding time is a great time to try and down your game, but it is also often a cooler time of day.
The deer are very sensitive to human odor, be sure to use spray to hide your scent and keep your cover. It isn't a bad idea to keep your spray either on your person, or in your truck to reapply if you need to.
Deer are wild animals, and they do have defense and protective instincts, avoid getting too close to where they eat and sleep to keep yourself safe. Get your buddies together and head out and land yourself a big one, save money and stock your deep freeze when you process it yourself with VacMaster!
Be sure to check season dates in your local area to be sure when and how you can hunt before planning a trip.
