  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • Optional toppings: coleslaw, sliced pickles, sliced onions

  1. Preheat your VacMaster sous vide water bath to 150°F (65°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the BBQ sauce. Or you can use a BBQ sauce of your choice.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place each chicken breast in a separate vacuum sealer bag.
  4. Pour the BBQ sauce into each bag, dividing it evenly among the bags. Make sure the chicken is well coated with the sauce.
  5. Use your VacMaster vacuum sealer to seal each bag.
  6. Submerge the sealed bags of chicken in the preheated water bath, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cook for 2 to 3 hours.
  7. Once the cooking time is up, carefully remove the bags from the water bath and take out the chicken breasts. Reserve the BBQ sauce.
  8. Shred the chicken.
  9. In a saucepan, heat the reserved BBQ sauce over medium heat until warmed through.
  10. Place the shredded chicken in a bowl and pour the warmed BBQ sauce over it. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly with the sauce.
  11. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place a generous amount of the BBQ shredded chicken on each bun.
  12. Add optional toppings such as coleslaw, sliced pickles, or sliced onions, according to your preference.
  13. Serve the sous vide BBQ chicken sliders and enjoy!

Using VacMaster's vacuum sealer and sous vide circulator ensures that the chicken breasts are sealed airtight, preserving their flavor and tenderness during the sous vide cooking process. The result is juicy and flavorful shredded chicken that pairs perfectly with the BBQ sauce. The slider buns and optional toppings add a delightful touch to the overall experience. Enjoy your meal!
