You're always running around, working, and trying to keep up with the demands of your life. You might have children or other family members dependent on you, leaving little time at the end of most days to cook dinner. Keep your freezer stocked with vacuum sealed, cooked food can be a life saver.

When you get home late, and know you need to eat something, but don't have time to cook, you can simply reheat any of the goodies hiding in your freezer. The easiest way to stock the freezer is to make a large batch when you do have time to cook, and vacuum seal leftovers in individual portions to freeze. Pasta is one of the easiest things to prepare in bulk! In fact, for me, whether I mean to make a lot, or a little, I always end up with a lot. You can portion this meal as a whole, or make some extra Bolognese to freeze on its own, to easily add to fresh pasta when you need it.

This is a recipe that is perfect to try when you've got some of that extra Bolognese on hand! Lasagna is tough not to make in large batches. I live alone; I don't need a whole tray of the stuff. Make it once, and portion and freeze the rest for all those days you don't have time to cook.
